Boysenberry pie is one of Beth's two favorite pies. For years, it was her "favorite pie that I don't bake myself." Then she moved to Colorado where you don't find boysenberry pies in any, let alone most, pie shops. At first, she would bring back frozen, unbaked pies when visiting Southern California. Then she decided it was easier to just order thirty–yes, 30–pounds of frozen boysenberries to make her own pies. As one does. It's one of the best pies you've never tasted. Pairs well with Límon, Claireberry, or vanilla ice cream.
Ingredients: enriched unbleached flour (wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, iron, thiamine, riboflavin, folic acid), boysenberry, butter (cream, natural flavor), sugar, water, vodka, cornstarch, salt, lemon juice
