TAKE-AND-THAW
Icebox pies aren't baked after assembly, but that doesn't mean they aren't cooked. Beth does her magic with the strawberries on a stovetop, pours it into a baked shell of her signature crust, and then chills it before tossing it in the freezer. She does all the work so you can take the pie home, thaw it out, and enjoy it. Whipped cream is, as always, optional. (But it goes really well as a dollop on each slice.)
Ingredients: strawberry, strawberry, sugar, unenriched flour (wheat flour, malted barley flour), butter (cream, natural flavor), water, lemon juice, vodka, gelatin, salt
