HAWAIIAN SUNRISE

The first time I visited Hawaii, I tried a passion fruit and raspberry shave ice, on the recommendation of my friends. Love at first bite. This is easily one of my favorite flavor combinations in all of fruitdom. Sweet, tart, strong flavors. Absolutely delectable. On my most recent trip, I took a container of Hawaiian Sunrise to the staff at my favorite cafe in Mililani, Rise and Shine Cafe. The verdict? And I quote, "These should never NOT be served together." When you get a thumbs up from the locals, you've done something right.
